How is the percentile calculated?

Students are often confused about how their percentile is calculated based on their actual marks. The formula by NTA is as follows.

Percentile Score = (100 × Number of Candidates in Session With Raw Score Equal to or Less Than the Candidate) ÷ Total Number of Candidates in That Session

Example: If you scored 150 marks and 85% of students scored lower than you, then your percentile will be approximately 85.

JEE Advanced Eligibility: Are you eligible for the next round?

After the JEE Main Result 2025, if you have cleared the cutoff, then you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2025. This is the next step for admission into IITs.
